My Story​
Charles Russell
​
I was raised in a fatherless home by my loving mother. We we're blessed to have the support of our community throughout our journey. That support had a lasting impact that resonanted with me into adulthood. My goal is to create the same impact in our community today.
I've spent 16 years helping to raise my nephew, who was also fatherless. Additionally, I have spent the last 20 years coaching, teaching, and mentoring local youth. I would love to continue to grow the BYM (Bethlehem Youth Ministries) platform to better serve our youth. Together we can utilize our God given gifts to positively impact the lives of others and make the world a better place for future generations.
IMPACT​
BYM disciples children by modeling the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) that exemplifies Jesus Christ. Ultimately, there is no limit to what God can do through BYM and it is our greatest hope to see children take up the cross and follow Jesus through their words, actions, and attitudes. Luke 18:16 Jesus called them to him, saying, Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.
